My husband Larry and I did the Haunted San Francisco (Pacific Heights) tour while on a mini Anniversary Trip. I took this photo on the 4th floor after feeling a cold spot, I took a picture of it and got this anomaly on the right hand side. Could have been my thumb, but I tested this (right after seeing photo on the monitor) by putting my thumb in the way and couldn't come up with the same effect.

Gov. Brown Designates Day To Remember Japan Disaster Victims - Sacramento News Story - KCRA Sacramento

I am entering this piece into a Community College Competition (ARC in Sac, CA).  Everything in this image is either photographed by me or drawn. The movie image is another photoshop'd image, I photographed toy cars in front of a Digital Frame. The Speakers (orig full size), poles, tree-bush silhouettes, and moon are all individual photos added, and then photoshop'd. I photoshop-painted in the "stars."

Because it didn't place in another contest, I saved then modified the original, adding the new movie scene, blue color, and stars. I'll keep changing it until it wins something, then at some point, maybe I will make a series of the different versions.

Great Coffee Place

A friend introduced me to Temple Coffee, Tea, and Fine Beverages.  It is located in a building that used to house a unique book store between J and K on 10th street in Sacramento. In spite of the overall building style, Temple has a peaked/A-frame ceiling as hinted-to from its store front. Also inside--besides the spectacular coffee--are an assortment of sofas, cushioned seats, coffee tables, regular tables and chairs as well as local art displayed on the wall. They do the foam milk designs on your drink, heart, leaf, etc.; Their coffee is fantastic and their white mocha is AWESOME!

I photograph a variety of subjects in macro, insects and arachnids included. I also collect certain things such as dice, superballs, and toy robots to name a few, so this photo is a macro of my dice collection.
